Frequently Asked Questions

How large will the driver’s belt expand to?
The large belt will expand to approximately 48 inches. This belt is secured by a strip of Velcro and a 2” plastic buckle.
At what age would you recommend this belt?
We do not specify any age, rather when using this product the size of the child is what’s important. A child has to be large enough to support a helmet, and in some areas it is required that the feet of the child be able to reach the foot pegs that are designed for the passenger. We do not recommend this product for any child whose weight exceeds 100 lbs (45.5kgs).
Is this a safety device and has it been approved by Standards?
This is in no way a safety device, nor has it been tested as such. This belt simply enables the rider to take a smaller passenger with them on a recreational vehicle such as a snowmobile or motorcycle where the passenger is located directly behind the driver.
